Description
Coaches will attend a clinic Friday, March 31st, led by Turtle Thomas and Brian Tallet (bios below).  They will then apply lessons learned in practical drills stationed throughout the playground.  Players will be escorted through the stations in groups of 4 to work on specific components of fundamental skills including base running, fielding, throwing, and hitting.  Turtle and Coach Tallet will supervise coaches and players at various points throughut the sessions.

$100 Registration fee covers 6 hours of player instruction.  Concessions, aditional training tutorial videos, training equipment, and event memorabilia will be available for purchase.

Turtle Thomas:  Has coached baseball for 39 years, 7 years at LSU,  as well as seasons with Clemson, Georgia Tech, University of Miami, Arizona State, Florida International University.  7 years in Texas Rangers Minor League organization.  He has run over 400+ camps in 40 years, including LSU clinics at Lakeview Playground.

Brian Tallet – Number 1 Pitcher at LSU in 2000, Drafted by Cleveland Indians in 2nd round (55th overall), pitched professionally for Indians, Cardinals, and Blue Jays from 2002-2011.  Currently coaches at Lakeview Playground in 12U and 5/6 Coach Pitch.
